Our Purpose
At CenterStage Dance Company, we believe in the transformative power of dance. Our purpose isn't just to provide exceptional dance education to Upstate South Carolina, it is to ignite the passion of dance and nurture that passion into personal growth for each dancer that steps into our studio. Our humility helps create the loving, nurturing, and family oriented space for dancers to create in that eventually grow into confident performers.
Our Programs
Recreational Program
We believe you can have FUN while learning, and that's what we base our recreational program around. Dance is a great way to learn rhythm and musicality, while also building lifelong skills like confidence and work ethic. Each class teaches the foundation of dance technique in multiple genres including ballet, tap, poms, contemporary, musical theater, and hiphop! All music and costumes are age appropriate. Parents are allowed to view classes in the building through our viewing window in the lobby, and/or through the dance room door as well! Being able to have access to your child during class is important to us!
Competitive Program
Our competitive program is for the dancer who wants to take dance to the next level. Our multi national winning competition teams are taught by multi national winning choreographers, and competitive adjudicators. These dancers commit 2-4 days a week to intense training to travel throughout the southeast to compete for regional and national titles, along with attending conventions. Our mandatory summer intensive is the audition process for one of our award winning competitive teams.
